4-H provides youth with the opportunity to become more involved with their community and world. Through various projects and activities, our club members learn the importance of citizenship in shaping the world around them. The 4-H focus of civic engagement is in four areas: Community engagement, Service, Civic Education, and Personal Development.
Our Foragers have the opportunity to tour the state capitol and sit in on law-making sessions. Our club also participates in various community service projects, giving back to their community.
You can get a sense of our club's commitment to developing our members' civic engagement by reading about our activities below.
