The Foragers had their May meeting and the focus was preparing for the Strawberry Festival. First, the Foragers heard member, Ashten, present his educational program on the History of Honey. After the club business was conducted, Ms. Jen presented a crash course on Honey Bees. We have several new members and we wanted to make sure they had the knowledge to educate the public at the Strawberry Festival. After the presentation, Mr. Hodgie showed the Foragers a teaching hive and explained all the parts of it.
